- Paediatric learning path
- Description:
-
This MindEd Programme learning path contains sessions most relevant to paediatricians.
There is also an alternative learning path aimed specifically at ST 1-5 paediatric trainees.
These sessions are written by international experts in child and mental health and will be valuable for paediatricians in the following ways:
1) to provide baseline knowledge of children's mental health
2) to act as material for discussion within teams and with supervisors and
3) to provide a non-paediatric expert perspective on important issues around communication and assessment.
This selection of sessions is only an introduction to the MindEd programme and, once you’ve undertaken some of the sessions, it is essential that you think about your specific interaction with children and young people. Using this, you should explore the rest of MindEd and complete further sessions that have further relevance to your role.
Use the My e-Learning option to see an overview of all the different MindEd programmes.
This learning path was devised by the Peadiatric Mental Health Association (PMHA), a specialty group affiliated with the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health (RCPCH).
