- This session is for a specialist audience: trainee and practising counsellors. The session will enable you to recognise the importance of empathy when counselling children and young people, identify issues that affect empathic communication, and recognise elements that contribute to good empathic communication. This session will also introduce you to a number of methods of evaluating or measuring empathy.
