- This session is aimed at more experienced users and provides an overview of Interpersonal Psychotherapy for Adolescents (IPT-A) as an intervention for the treatment of depression in adolescents. It will enable you to understand the basic principles of IPT-A and what happens within IPT-A sessions. It also provides you with a brief overview of the research and evidence base for the therapy to help you understand when IPT-A would be a recommended treatment approach for a young person.
