- The Parents' Context: Attachment and Parenting Sensitivity
- Description:
- This session is aimed at more experienced/specialist users and focuses on parental factors that impact on the parent-child relationship. The concept of attachment is explored, along with attunement and parental sensitivity (the way in which parents respond to the cues of their infants). The session explores some of the factors that may prevent a parent from responding sensitively to their infants and the implications of this for the child.
