This session will help you realise that many disabilities are not always apparent from how someone looks or presents. Such disabilities may still have a huge impact on the individual, their family and others they meet and interact with.
The word order ‘disabled children and young people’ is used in this and all the Disability Matters sessions. This is because disabling factors are most often external to the person and are therefore something that everyone in society can do something about. - Hierarchy:
