- Family life cycle
- Description:
- This session is aimed at a universal audience and introduces the family life cycle model. While this model is not the only way to approach family life, it is a useful way of considering children’s needs as they are brought up. The session will go on to look at limitations of the life cycle model, the importance of considering diversity in different types of families, and the many different ways families can successfully manage the tasks and problems with which they are faced.
