Session information

- Title:
- How to challenge inappropriate medication 1
- Description:
- This session will address what to do if your relative, or someone you are supporting, is being given medication for challenging behaviour and you are worried that it is not benefitting them or might even be harming them. It will consider whether they should be given the medication and what to look for if you are worried that it might not be good for the person. It will consider what other options should be in place to support them, and the steps you can take to safely challenge whether or not it is the best thing for them. We recognise that it is not always easy to question whether giving someone medication is right for them. Everyone has a right to challenge the use of medication when they have concerns.
