Course Information
- Title:
- Bringing a Whole School and College Approach (WSCA) to Life
- Description:
-
This course of 6 elearning sessions, supported with animations, is aimed at all staff, teachers, heads, principals and governors, health and care staff working in and working with schools and colleges.
We begin with a session exploring the important topics of language and how we speak about mental health and wellbeing. The following session explores how your education setting can improve mental health and wellbeing. Next we explore policy and guidance and how they should be used to support your WSCA. Evidence is important and should be used to guide delivery and decision making so we dip into the use of the evidence in design and delivery of your WSCA. The final two sessions focus on bringing your WSCA strategy and its subsequent implementation to fruition.
Ideally you will work through all six sessions to gain most benefit from the learning.
We hope this will help you and therefore your pupils, students and your whole education setting. - Hierarchy:

- Keywords:
- MindEd, whole school and college approach, WSCA, mental health support teams, MHSTs, wellbeing, strategy, implementation, graduated approaches, targeted, universal, specialist, special educational needs and disabilities, SEND, learning
